Enquiry & introduction
Send the date, the venue, the rough guest count, and anything that has already caught your eye. A project lead replies within one business day with an honest read on fit, timing, and budget.

Consultation & mood
A 45‑minute video or in‑atelier session. We talk through palette, paper weight, finishing, and the moments the suite will need to carry — from save‑the‑date to table cards to thank‑you notes.

Digital mockup in four days
Your designer sends the first fully laid‑out mockup within four business days of the consultation. Two rounds of refinements are included before we move to paper.

Hand‑finished production
Once approved, the suite moves to our 620 m² Karaköy studio for press, foil, embossing, hand‑trimming and assembly. 92% of invitations are inspected by a single craftsperson before they leave the building.

Insured, tracked delivery to forty‑seven countries via DHL GoGreen — carbon‑neutral since 2020. Every order over $80 ships with full tracking; every order, however large, ships on time or we phone you first.
We used Papyon for our May wedding and came back the following spring for my sister's. The second suite was honestly easier than the first — they already knew how we liked to work, kept every deadline, and the paper held up beautifully in the post to half our guest list. If a question is missing, the answer is usually: yes, we can — ask the project lead directly.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
Bespoke suites begin at thirty invitations. For smaller intimate weddings (under thirty) we recommend our ready‑to‑personalise Shop collection, which can be monogrammed in our studio. Wholesale pricing unlocks at fifty units.
How long does a custom monogram take?
An original monogram illustration takes around five business days from brief to first concept, included in every bespoke suite. We have also archived a small library of historical Ottoman‑inspired marks we can adapt on request, which shortens the timeline to two days.
Which paper stocks are available?
Cotton paper from a third‑generation mill in northern Italy — in ivory, off‑white, blush, champagne, stone, and deep charcoal. Handmade mulberry and lokta papers from small ateliers in burgundy, ink, and slate. All stocks are FSC certified and archival.
Can you print guest addresses on the envelopes?
Yes. Send a spreadsheet in our template and we calligraphically print or foil each envelope for a per‑envelope fee, with a complimentary second proof. International address formatting (including diacritics and right‑to‑left) is handled in‑house.
What does international shipping cost?
DHL Express to forty‑seven countries, fully tracked and insured on every order over $80. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on weight and destination; we always confirm the figure with you before charging. Carbon‑neutral since 2020, in partnership with DHL GoGreen.
What happens after I approve the mockup?
You receive a written production schedule with paper lot numbers and finishing dates. A 50% deposit secures the press slot; the balance is due before shipping. You will receive production photographs before packing, and a tracking link the moment the courier collects the parcel.
